SIOP’s considering a name change. This will happen in a two-part process. First, an alternative name will be selected. It will be one of the following:
· The Society for Organizational Psychology (TSOP)
· Society for Work Psychology (SWP)
· Society for Work and Organizational Psychology (SWOP)
You can vote by rank ordering your preference of these options between now and October 30.
Once the alternate has been selected, SIOP members will vote on changing vs. keeping the SIOP name. This will happen December 4 – January 4.
